Scarborough Fair (Traditional British Ballad)
www.facebook.com www.myspace.com While Scarborough Fair has been popularized by Simon and Garfunkel, it is important to remember that Scarborough Fair was originally a traditional British folk ballad that dates back at least two centuries ago. I chose to research this song for a school project, and decided to perform a version that combines the beautiful vocal and acoustic melodies of Simon and Garfunkel with the traditional lyrics that stay true to the folk ballad of old. The result is what you see here.
